1. Minutes from our November meeting were approved. 2. Feedback from John Ingram: Cathy met with John Ingram recently to update him on our progress. He is pleased with where we are going and continues to be supportive of our efforts. He has allowed us to run a tiny pilot project with two potential PI's (Flo Turcotte and Lori Driscoll), asking them for their feedback re: the proposal template. Cathy also mentioned that a glossary had been added to the end of the procedure and information about CAS (Cost accounting standards), sub accounts and sub contracts had been ( or will soon) be added to the procedure itself. 3. One page summary/checklist: We reviewed the second draft of the one page summary page. Edits were made live on the laptop, hooked up to the projector, so that all could see. Updates are posted on the main GMC web page. 4. Review of proposal template: We reviewed the second draft of the proposal template. Minor edits were made. Updates are posted on the main GMC web page. 5. Brochure: The committee reviewed the draft brochure language and looked at the graphic emailed in by Erich. Minor modifications were made to both. The group felt that the draft was far enough along to be forwarded to Barbara Hood for actual brochure creation. 6. Public Web page draft: The committee reviewed the public web page drafted by Peter. It was decided to move up the information about Kelley, move up the links to the GMC documents, move up the links to potential funding agencies, leave the grant committee member information at the bottom and move elsewhere, but not delete, some of the information sentences at the beginning. 7. Membership: The GMC reviewed the 2nd draft of the membership recommendations. Since Committee membership is stable for at least a year, these recommendations will not be needed right away. However, when we need them, it will be nice to have them all ready to go.
