Mini Grant Program:Monday, October 3, 2011 by 5:00 PM; Tuesday,May 1, 2012 by 5:00PM
The Library Mini Grant Program is open to all staff from the George Smathers Libraries.
Although any staff member can now apply, this program was designed to provide a supportive environment for novices who wish to gain experience conceptualizing, writing, and administering grant projects. To demonstrate support for those applicants who are new to the grants seeking process, the committee will award additional points to these applications during the review process. Successful grant projects are competitively selected and are funded and administered by the University of Florida Libraries Grant Management Committee. The Mini Grant Program is intended to replicate, as much as possible, the process of writing and submitting grant proposals to outside funding agencies.
