Photocopiers and Printers
AFA Library has 2 multi-function printer/photocopy machines. One produces black/white copies, and the other, color. They are located on the main floor of the library near the current periodicals display. Copying/Printing is charged to your Gator-One card vending account. More info - www.uflib.ufl.edu/printing
Computer Workstations
The Library has 15 Windows-based microcomputer workstations for accessing library catalogs, indexes, online texts, and the World Wide Web. Ask staff if you require assistance using these machines. All public computer workstations are networked to centrally accessible printers (color and black/white). You must use your Gator1 card (with open vending account) to pay for these copies. Printing instructions are located near workstations and the printers.
Word Processing and other production software are also available on AFA Library public workstations.
Video Players
4 video stations are available for viewing the library's video collections. Both VHS and DVD players are available. VHS and DVD recordings and headphones are available for checkout at the Circulation Desk.
Microforms Equipment
1 microforms reader/printer is available for viewing microform collections and making photocopies.
Scanners
Two workstations each equipped with a 11X17 flatbed scanner, 35mm slide/film scanner, usb, zip drive, cd burner, and email capabilities are located in the reference area.
Pencil Sharpener
A pencil sharpener is located near the Service Desk.
FlipVideo Cameras
The library has 3 FlipVideo Cameras available for 3-day checkout. Ask at the service desk to borrow this equipment.
Other Stuff
A paper cutter, stapler, and hole-punch are located near the service desk. Patrons are expected to bring their own paper and writing instruments.
