CIRCULATION
and
COURSE RESERVES
At the Service Desk,
you may:
-
Check
out, renew, recall, or return library materials.

Check
out materials placed on course reserve by instructors. Reserve lists are
accessible through WebLUIS. Some full text and image reserve materials
are available online through the Libraries' website.
-
Obtain
reference assistance. Desk staff handle basic reference queries and make
referrals to subject specialists or other staff.
-
Obtain
nonbook materials housed at the circulation desk: videorecordings, cd-roms
and other electronic media, loose-leaf items, current issues of periodicals,
items in Special Collections.

Obtain
user handouts, such as library policies, research guides, and library plans.
-
Get assistance
in using library equipment.

Get assistance
for the disabled or impaired.
-
Make suggestions
on what books the library should buy, how services can be improved, etc.

Get copier
information such as refund applications.

Note:
Most Library materials may be returned at any UF campus library location
or to nearby bookdrops.
Please
return AFA Library non-book formats (Video, CD-ROM, etc.) and course reserves
to the Se AFA Library. When the library is not open, return materials to
the bookdrop at the south entrance of AFA (on the bridge).-
